Let me lend you a moment of spirit
Loaded with fire
Let me find the treasure
That you sought in the ashes of our dreams
Let me be the solution
To the burdens of tomorrow
Let me be the magic carpet
In the reflections of a lost day we wished had been lived
Let me see beyond the horizon
And plot the path of a restful ease to be felt once again
That we found in those summer days of simplicity
Hidden in the flowered park arm in arm
Far from the grief to come
With thoughts of forever
And our backs to the clouds
