A Mothers Death Poem by Nilay Vyas

A Mothers Death

Rating: 5.0

Why did you go living me alone in dark,
with fear and trouble all alone.
When I was small you use to tell me,
you would always be with me.
You gave me birth,
after a great sacrifice.
You took me to swings in my childhood,
you made me capable to stand in legs.
How could I ever forget you?

I could not understand your love,
I thought you were always shouting at me.
I got angry at you by my other problems,
You accepted it by seeing me getting a little lighter.
You felt pain by seeing me in vain,
I felt relief with a hand of yours in my forehead.
You always fulfilled my wishes,
and kept encouraging me.

You never expressed sorrow,
in front of me.
You always seemed happy,
in vision of mine.
You stopped your breath in laps of mine,
but still you are always there with me.
Your last sentence was,
'I AM ALWAYS THERE WITH YOU'

You gave me birth, after a great sacrifice. You took me to swings in my childhood, you made me capable to stand in legs. How could I ever forget you? A beautiful ode to your great loving mom, dear Nilay. We all have the same pain one day. The dearest on Earth leaves us for all eternity, still we have to respect her last wishes, to keep her dearest treasure healthy and safe and secure- her child. Love and respect your own life. She would be happy wherever she is. An amazing poem shared. 10+++ for it. Regards. Subhas
