A Mysterious Nowhere - Poem by Nellie Isabelle Steward Cooper

Do we see reality maybe in glimpses?
just as we see people in passing
coming out of some jaunty somewhere
emerging to our curious view

Oh, but for a misting moment
then once again, gone-abruptly
lost in deep fog-back to
a mysterious nowhere
