A Never Ending Cycle Poem by khutifela bushmun

A Never Ending Cycle

Rating: 5.0

On a street corner
Watching days pass by
Without sowing seeds for tomorrow
Yes! Yesterday is just a thought now
A thought with rotten roots
Roots that will give birth to falling leaves
Leaves that will manure the soil
The soil that will give birth to new life
A new life, on a street corne

NO Shelter!
On a street corner
NO FOOD!
We no longer write on boards
Because you can read from our dry lips
Three children to feed
Two buy my side
One on my back
ON a street corner

UP they went
Down they went
Without lending me a thought
They look at me
But they can`t see me
And slill, i am there
ON a street corner

Tomorrow you shall find me there
With pieces of poems in my hand
To be handed out to you
So that, our poems can occupy every street corner
