Ever since I met you
I've lived only one long day
And that long day has been
The best day of my life
But I fear the sun is setting
And that the darkness will soon cover us.

Can we break through the night?
I'll stand and fight
And I'll let loose my light
Because the night is darkest
Just before the dawn
And all my pain will soon be gone.

So let's shine bright
And show the world
That we're in flight
And nothing can bring us down
Not even the mightiest gale
Could ever make us fail.

A new day is dawning
And consuming the night
I'm no longer yawning
From an exhausting fight
So come take my hand
And we'll show our true might
So come take my hand
And we'll paint the world white.
