A New Scroll Poem by Naveed Akram

A New Scroll

It displayed one man residing in the head,
Magic has compartments to be lead.
A scripture shall complain if rewards appear
To the dishonest, to the people who do not adhere
To their faith, the knowledge of God,
A straightforward voluminous writer to applaud.
I see sheep when there are lambs of beauty,
Youth heals the sick by avoiding ultimately.
The new scroll suggests fierce winds
Of writing, of poetry and of whirlwinds.
