A Panelist Judge For Black Music Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A Panelist Judge For Black Music

Putting the wires,
The wires of the smartphone,
Into the ears,
The ears of mine
I haring,
Hearing
The Black music,
Black music,
The music of the Blacks,
The blacks,
Sipping black coffee
And feeling,
Feeling myself
As a judge,
A panelist judge
Of some competition,
Competition
Hearing,
Hearing the music,
Music
And smiling,
Smiling and judging,
Judging
A panelist judge,
Judge of Black music,
Black music,
But the music is
Never, never Black,
Of the Black man,
The Black folks.

Music is contagious, be it of any creed. Beautifully expressed.
