A Part Of Me
I’ve let you see a part of me
that is very secret,
some piece of my soul
that not even my mother knows about.
It’s like
I’ve let you into the place
where the demons
lurk in the shadows.
I gave you
that key
to the chest
that contains all things
I wish I was
and you destroyed it.
