Love, Love, Love
I try not to put myself above
My heart beat for you
And though you've gone away
I think back often
and the memory makes me blue
Sadness has replaced
the gladness of your smile
That helped me through
many a long and lonely mile
Nothing felt so soft as your kisses
the hear never forgets one it misses
sometimes it's hard to face
one we know we could never replace
I guess it's destined to always be that way
and if happiness should one day peek through
and another's softness
should be mine too
I'll love her as much as my heart will give
but I shall not forget you
because what we shared was also true
A part of me I gave to you
