A Patriot



The Patriot had brains
He
Did not want to
Shed
His blood too early:
Wanted, of course,
To shed his blood
But
In delay after delay
The enemies of his land
And country
To harass:
And
Win:
Then
Seeing his country
Saved
He shed his blood.
