A Pink Rose Poem by Tess Rockenstire

A Pink Rose

Rating: 5.0

I close the gap between you and me,
Victor is my vigor, of a dying ember.
‘Twas so my love,
Countenance of beauty, smiles evoked
Beneath the cedar wood
A pink rose parch,
A rain dropp came
And touched my lips,
Though a rose parch, life emerged.
Dragon fly embarks a new life
Dancing on a pond as sky smiles,
A rose bloom
Hidden beneath a wall –
Of partitions though; savage and grey,
Oh thy soul renewed with love,
Vital and sweet is the aroma of your kiss.
