A Plea. - Poem by Lizzy Tomlinson
My darling, are you listening,
Could you visit me tonight?
I need your inspiration,
To help me do things right.
You always were the one that
Dealt with things as they were needed.
I really wish I'd listened now,
And your advice I'd heeded.
I'm not the strongest person babe,
You know that, so I need,
To know that you're still with me,
For my life to proceed.
