A Plea And A Prayerwhy Don't You Speak To Us Again? Poem by Shalom Freedman

A Plea And A Prayerwhy Don't You Speak To Us Again?

Why don't You speak to us again?
Why don't You help us have the guidance we so need?
We seem so alone here
Seeking to connect with some other minor voice
Seeking some other ‘intelligent life'
No longer believing You are the Creator of All
So many of us no longer even expecting to hear from you?
Why don't You disprove the non-believers,
And help us find the way to trust in Your purposes for us?
We are desperately alone
And the old answers are not enough
Please help us
Please guide us
Please speak to us again.

A simple prayer which has lot of devotion and made us feel like pleading the mother for our wishes. Wonderful expression
