A Plea For Redemption Poem by Frank Adie

A Plea For Redemption

O Lord,
On the last day, kindly surprise Satan;
Strip him of every followership,
By forgiving the sins of all your children.
Let Satan be the solitary inhabitant of hell;
Let the devil alone suffer the consequences,
Of his satanic conspiracy against his Master.
Because you are the master purifier,
Wash your children as white as snow.
Let every sinner receive mercy,
And join their voice in shouting hosanna.
Let the Blood of Calvary speak for all men good or bad;
For we are all the works of your hands O Lord of Mercy.
Nothing is impossible for you; and who can question your action?
Let Amazing grace, Loving kindness and Tender mercy,
These divine attributes of the Most High God,
Overshadow the sins of mankind.
