How do you like the way
a poem comes to you?
Is it a mere stray thought,
a momentary effusion,
some random musing
or the mind unmasked
on leisurely flowing lines,
feeling, restraint combined?
Whatever you conjure up,
it comes from the recess
of the heart unleashed,
singing with a new accent
the enduring glory of life
along the path untrodden.
