A Poem For God....

i must have missed
something too essential,
no not air, no not food,
no not shelter, since
i have them all, and yet
the emptiness penetrates
and shakes the whole being...
Oh God, how could have i
forgotten You. Forgive my
lapses, forget my weak
memory.
This restlessness shall not
rest until it rests on Thee.
