A poem for modernity
"Killed himself, suicide, "
-said journal…
Article, very long
-and many commented:
- "Not a man, ", "Brutal."
And much more
-much, much more…
Everyone felt had right
-to judge and to decide
-the "He was…"
None was right
-not even single one…
Jeremy was one of
-today's youth
-was too young…
-a victim of his time
-searched for job
-ready to be robot…
Unlike child of cheaters
- (one of the millionaires!)
-he had a normal life
-born to work till he dies…
He left home and parents
- (each, every, entire, beloved.)
He was a copy of
-those who come to live in
-large cities, among them Toronto
- (from farms, small towns)
-and live in the basements
-even that in sharing and rented!
What he owned was one thing
-as friend, belonging, partner for sharing.
He lived with his lovely
-with the name of "Knightley"
- (golden-eyed, spotless, black dog.)
The dog died in a car
-caught by heat, excessive
-Jeremy went to court
-was charged and penalised
-to pay fine…
Nobody looked in heart
-or to what had gone wrong
-to poor guy and his mind…
Nobody saw the depths
-just slammed the gavel of judgement:
- "He is a criminal! ! ! "
"This life and these people…"
-he thought and decided:
- "…are worthless to live with…"
He could not afford it
-neither was able to
-live with it and take it
Therefore, he took his life
-committed suicide…
This is our modern life
-mimicking the celebs,
-turned Zombies, following
-brainwashed with Apps and TV
-listening and watching
-CNN, Fox News and photos
-on Google and Facebook…
-voting for the Trump-like-donkeys!
Jeremy, wait for me
-I also suffer and am coming.
-The hell with modern life
-best is death, want to die…
