A Poem For My Love Poem by Em Jay Christian

A Poem For My Love

I'm sorry,
I only seem,
To write poetry for them.
I am so full,
Of love,
And hope,
And peace,
And dreams,
And you give me everything,
But what do I write?
I spill negative pros,
I fill these pages,
With anger at them,
With heartbreak spilling out,
For those,
Least likely to read it.
You read it all,
And so little of it,
Is about the love I feel for you.
A love,
So true,
So perfect,
I run out of words to describe it,
I try to tell you.
I know it seems I think of them,
So much more,
Than should be right,
But you,
You're in every thought I have,
It isn't fair,
That when I have so much,
All I spout is spite.
But to be honest,
Anger makes for a better write.
But I promise I will try,
I will show you,
Every way I can,
That my love for you,
Is peaceful,
Hopeful,
Comsuming all I am.
I will send my love your way,
I will paint you,
Give you words,
Because I want it to be fair,
After all,
You are my biggest fan.
