A Poem For You Poem by Juan Olivarez

This is a poem I wrote for you,
Hopefully your'e happy, not at all blue.
And I wish to brighten up your day,
So let me recite it, if I may.

May the sun today, shine down on you,
And find you warm and happy too.
And may from on high brighten your day,
With all it's warmth and golden rays.

May all the birds sing just for you,
May the southern breeze, be fresh as dew.
May all the clouds high in the sky,
Bring a billowy beauty to your eye.

And when your day is at an end,
A beautiful sunset may the good lord send.
So you will know, how special you are,
As you behold the evening star.
