A Poem On Your Love Poem by MD MOZAFFOR HOSSAIN

A Poem On Your Love

A Poem on Your Love
Md Mozaffor Hossain

I thought I would write a poem on you
On your love I would write some verses
I took a pen, it was midnight
But, my brain resided with you elsewhere.

You have robbed me of myself
With your love you have snatched me away
I could not write a thing
All I wrote was a story.

I failed at the depth of your love
I do not love myself that much
I wish I could love like you do
But I could not write a thing.

Such a heavenly aura your love sheds
My whole existence gets drenched, I fail to cry
But I wish to sob in gratitude
Your love has implanted a soul in me.

Among these teeming countenances
As I feel like one trifle and a naught
You came and embodied me with love
I survived and lived a life.

How indebted am I to you!
So profound a love you pour on me
I sense meaning in every breath
I desperate to live an undying life.
