Behind My Cerebrum Poem by MD MOZAFFOR HOSSAIN

Behind My Cerebrum

Behind My Cerebrum

Behind my cerebrum dwells another self.
It propels me to act as you all witness.
A constant push it perpetrates and renders me irresolute.
Coherently, you find me jumbled and assured.

Commensurate am I with what others deem,
I experience myriad souls dazzle and grim
While you grasp me one in a sole avatar
Manyfold I am in cerebral and mundane stature.

Those who nourish profound musings decode the candor
Like saints, philosophers enlightened beyond the door.
Some evince we are in a stupor knitted with grails
Others hint for unattended intents, to reverie we sail.

Some evoke I am fastened for good to the untrue
While the certitudes behind me evermore move through
Some induce my presence bears no fruit here and elsewhere.
To many, I am just a perspective deserving deference and care.

Once salvaged I malfunction to value the veridical,
Beseech I to the One to remit me to the real
That I have been so accustomed to for so long.
Otherwise, bonafide hunches impel me to ruminate wrong.

To my unceasing yearning fails the Omniscient Lord
To kindle me with verity but grant me a lot.
It ostensibly placates me that I am so smug.
A circadian esse I carry like either a man or a bug.
