Like Shelley met Ozymandias
I meet many among the mortals around
Their syntax of vanity surpasses all
"I" is what all they say without fail.

'I'
Like Shelley met Ozymandias
I meet many among the mortals around
Their syntax of vanity surpasses all
"I" is what all they say without fail.
"I can do you, I can undo all."
"I can perform such beyond you can recall."
"I have accomplished the unimaginable."
"And you before me must kneel and fall."
Thus the "I" saga goes on and on
And all humans like us must bow
None can raise a voice
None dares even to leave the accursed place.
Shelley's Ozymandias was followed by decay
Nature had the upper hand
Pride collapsed as it always is supposed to
Which here and now happens but rare.
Burgeoning conceit reigns over solemnity
Righteousness gives in
Where the wronged ones look up
If the swaggering domain ends.
The wait lingers through recurring wrongs
The suppressed ones can't help giving up
While "I" with renewed vigor
Makes sure all are sure to suffer.
Forgiveness takes greater revenge than the direst punishment.
Stop caring, stop reacting Start helping Only thus, it grows.
'Prefer for others as you do for yourself.' makes the world a better place.
