A Poem To Be - Poem by Pam Morris

Your name
speaks
integrity.
Your eyes are
steady,
but ticking.
The love in
your heart,
your truth,
your loyalty,
your devotion,
to your
sister,
who
needs it.
I will never
leave you
sunburned
in the
dust
again.
I will
always
be your
strange
small
scary
friend.
