Falling Out Of Religion - Poem by Pam Morris

I am humming along
to a hymn
(Inside)
wishing to dance
for the lord
(too tired)
full of energy
but sleeping
(In Church)
I will not eat
(just as I will not pray)
despite my hunger
(body and soul)
