Then I - Poem by Pam Morris

You are a pretty girl.
You write more beautiful
things then I,
make more laughter
then I,
have more friends
then I.
you are more pure
then I could ever
hope to be.
Sometimes I envy
you, but then,
I know I am lucky
for such a friend
when there
are so many better
then I.
