A Poemless Day Poem by Shalom Freedman

A Poemless Day

And its own kind of sadness-
But sometimes
By surprise
Not long before sunset
A new friend comes
And words never dreamed before
Form on the page
And say to today,
‘Hello You have not been wasted.’
