A poor hapless, helpless destitute woman
I saw her with a baby daughter
Asking for money
In the train compartment
When it stopped at the halt
And the difference I found it
In the way she stood asking pitifully
With acknowledgement and nodding of the head
So varied from habitual gypsies and nomades,
I could not make out her miserable condition.
