A Prayer For 2004 - Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Midnight strikes the hour,
Across the World it chimes,
To herald in the New Year,
Once more for all Mankind.

May this Year bring peace and goodness
To every Nation in the World,
And remove harm, poverty and sickness,
Throughout this, and all the Lands.

May calamity and misfortune disappear as well,
And let Peace come to all the World,
So Mankind can learn to live together as friends,
With all in other Lands.

May differences between Nations,
Be removed for good,
And may Mankind live together
As every person should.

This a great peaceful poem; I would like to see Peace on earth.
    Peace and Love.
