A Pretty Little Girl Poem by Nick Kler

A Pretty Little Girl

I saw a pretty little girl
Shot from behind
Engulfed in her own blood
As she collapsed on the floor

Soon, her body was whisked away
But, she left behind
A picture of herself
Carved within that road
in an indelible ink
For generations to see
