A Protective Pillow Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

A Protective Pillow

Rating: 5.0

This is indeed
paradise on earth.
To go to sleep

with your wife
snuggled up
beside you

embraced within
upon
the comfort of

your arm
as her protective
pillow.

Night after night
day after day
as the years flow

into the comfort
of a loving old age
loving living together

with the
one
you love.
