A Pulse A Second Poem by Muktika Poddar

A Pulse A Second

Rating: 5.0

For a second, I thought I was alone,
But I was not.
For flowers bloomed every day,
Unfolding their growth with mine.

For a second, I thought I was lost,
But I was not.
For birds built their nest each day,
Singing their prayers with mine.

For a second, I thought I was nobody,
But I was not.
For the moon shone every night,
Reflecting its beauty with mine.

For a second, I thought I was alone,
But I was not.
For life pulsed within every breath,
Speaking its dreams with mine.
