A Question Poem by RIC BASTASA

A Question

whatever detests upon yourself
cannot just be simply removed by you
and you say, this is not me
there is no denial about your dual nature
both evil and good
mixed in one glass like salt and water
if you remove one from the other
you shall not be the same again
not your taste, not you anymore
and you ask: what is real? the salt alone?
