A Rainy Night

In the middle of the night
I sow my love again
Waiting for me in the lonely road
Like an angel under the rain
A faint smile was drawn on his face
But the eyes had much more to say
And if there was any sadness
I hope with a kiss it would fade away

But after the kiss nothing changed
Our tears were still flowing in the rain
A wave of emotions burned inside me
Full of hurt, fear and pain

Under the rain we held each other
Deadly in the eyes he looked at me
Whispering the words that broke the silence
“ together any more we cannot be”

I had to walk away on my own
Lonely in the night and endless rain
Knowing that I will never see him
Or fall in love ever again
