Prepared to take a journey
Into the future, but first the past
As there are some things to be changed
To allow for our love to forever last

Walking back the forgotten road
That once I removed off my mind
But now I have to remember the way
Because a loved one has been left behind

But how can an angel be forgotten
And left alone to travel this way
I will lock your hand with mine my darling
And be there for you in night and day

Will meet halfway through this road
And I promise this half will be the best
As every step will erase your past
And inside my soul your heart can rest

The road we are walking is now beautiful
The way has been spread with petals of rose
And every door will be now opened for us
As I have broken the keys that kept them close

Since the lonely road has turned into heaven
With our love, it will have no end
But keep your hand always locked in mine
In case this road will someday bend
