A real Christian
Shouldn't need to tell everyone to listen,
Then tell everyone of their position
And then tell them that they're a Christian.
By their actions alone
They will be recognized and known,
Unto all their beliefs will be shown
In them, others will know if the Holy Spirit has grown.
A Christian doesn't hate or judges
Nor do they belittle or spread rumors or hold grudges,
They are not offended or gossip about smudges
Or mock others with finger pointing and whispers and nudges.
A real Christian doesn't start a fight
Just to prove whose wrong and they are right,
Unto the ways of the devil they are never quite
Christians turn the other cheek and let them smite.
A Christian follows the teachings of Jesus
They are offended by cheaters and liars and those who cuss,
No one deliberately do they toss under a bus
As Jesus is indeed truly one of us.
A real Christian never makes an insulting post
Then tell others that they're filled with the Holy Ghost,
The sins or errs of others they should not proudly boast
Instead a Christian tells others how Jesus loves them the most.
A true Christian doesn't condone hate
Nor do they ever wish pain as anyone's fate,
They want no one to end up at Hell's gate
A Christian always carries a heavy weight.
A real Christian will not be known by lies
Or by sinners cries,
Or by pretending they are truthful and also wise
A real Christian never wears a disguise.
A true Christian is known by the clothes that they wear
And by how they help others and always care,
Not by how they led others to a snare
They are also always known by their thankful prayer.
A Christian walks in the steps of Christ
For their sins the Lord has paid the price,
A Christian always takes the Lord's advice
Don't be evil or hateful, but be forgiving and always nice.
