A Reason For An Impossible Goal Poem by Logan Fulk

A Reason For An Impossible Goal

Our toils for spoils outweigh our fights for right
Even when our yield is sealed
Because we will climb to any height
Even when our goal is concealed

It is our reason for the impossible
The unthinkable that makes us unstoppable
It is our drive to triumph and through tragedy
Even when the end is a mystery

The reason is un-comprehendible
Even in our expression un-readable
At no roadblock will we stop
Until ultimately we’ve reached the top

Even in our darkest days
Even when the end is near
We’ll stay focused through the foggy haze
Our eyes will give no sign of fear

Our will is strong and we shall soar
With every ounce of our heart and soul
Nothing will block our way anymore
Because of this reason for our impossible goal
