A Right To Choose Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Right To Choose

Rating: 5.0

No one can take away my freedom
It has never happened or took place seldom
It has to be there by virtue of natural justice
It has been guaranteed by forefathers as promise

Man is born free so he must have his say
He has every right to choose his way
It may be applicable to any of the gender
Anybody who violates it can be termed as offender

I had wished to be a free bird
I wanted to run among the heard
It was to be an open sky with vast horizon
Not to be divided by any region or zones

Open frontiers with no restrictions at sea
Waves to strike at cost and no one to flee
Enjoy the sound with utmost silence
Natural scenes with winds presence

Birds were to fly with little noise
They had joy with enough choice
I had an urge to sing with good voice
I was determined to surge with good poise

Lions, tigers found their equal share
Nice atmosphere found no where
River flowed with calm water
All needs were allowed to cater

It is unique to breathe with fresh air
Head will zoom and raise the hair
Everything seems naturally fair
Air is thick but very clear

A word to keep and good to promise
Enjoy it full with not a moment to miss
I shall try to cherish as fulfilled dream
The sun may shine with bright beam

Freedom and thoughts got to go together
Synchronize well with season and weather
It may provide relief and breather
There is no tension and nothing to bother
