A beautiful flower, humble and shy
Becomes a rose, under a moonlit sky
She walks to the shore, and opens her arms
Like petals from a flower, showing nature her charm
Her footprints are printed, firmly on the sand
As she writes her desires, on paper by hand
She throws her desires, into the ocean
Where they are carried away, by a waves swift motion
The moon shines upon her face
As she stares into the horizon, a moment of grace
Her desires ride through, the seas at night
To eventually be read, by a curious knight
Then I walk behind her and stand besides her
As she looks up at me
Then we both stare at the moon, as daylight comes soon
And our souls are set free.
