I'm Lost In My Dream
I sleep, I dream
I get lost it seems
I shout, I cry
The desperation inside
Gets the best of me
Why can't you see?
I'm lost in my dream
I look inside
For a place to hide
But my inflated pride
Won't let me decide
I was desperate to find
What I left behind
Not even I knew
It was surely confined
Just let me be
Why can't you see?
I'm lost in my dream
I start to run in confusion
It all feels like an illusion
I'm in a maze
Of stubborn haze
I shout, I cry
The desperation inside
Does not lie
What does this mean?
Why can't I be seen?
I must be lost in my dream.
