a salute to the enduring human spirit
in many ways this is a tribute to faith
love and the regenerative powers

of the human heart

it is also a testament of faith
found in those of us who believe
in justice human dignity

opposing
all storms of injustice
oppression

for all races creeds of humanity
regardless of fashions trends
appeasement disbelief even overt

hostility

I uphold affirm
the eternal truth
of Christianity

in many ways
this is a tribute
to faith love

regenerative powers
of the human heart
it is also a testament

of faith found
in those of us
who believe in

justice
human dignity
opposing

all forms
all storms
all strains

of injustice
oppression
deception

direct
propagated
against

all races
creeds
of humanity

regardless
of fashions
trends

appeasement
disbelief overt
hostility

this salute
is for those
who love

sacrifice
give
to others

tested tried
in times
of adversity
