A Scary Girl the Peacock Butterfly (Inachis Io) Poem by john (called jack) wren

A Scary Girl the Peacock Butterfly (Inachis Io)

An aristocrat who loves to boast
She has honey on her toast,
On this and every other morn
Since the day she was born.

For one born from noble birth
She milks this honey for all its worth,
Not wanting to share with lesser kind
Like those crude and unrefined.

Fond of taking woodland rides
Where her shadow often glides,
And her wings have known to flaunt
Down a country lane in jaunt.

Flashing her eyes in surprise
At all the lovely merchandise,
Displayed with a guarantee
To make one go weak at the knee.

Then, when put under some duress
She has been known to outguess
Anyone who can out fly
This peculiar butterfly.

By producing another pair of eyes
An act which horrifies
All those who can out fly
This peculiar butterfly.
