I Want To Live a Cry From The Womb Poem by john (called jack) wren

I Want To Live a Cry From The Womb

I am but a helpless child, encased in my mother's womb
evolving as God intended, as a rose waits to bloom
do not curtail my embryonic life, as a cure for all your ills
look upon me as your precious dove with no need of a
surgeons skills
let me feel the cool morning wind blow gently through my hair,
to be drenched by warm summer rain and smell the sweet Spring air
to wonder at the Sun and Moon and the glory of the Heavens at night
to be overpowered by ineffable love God bestowed on me that right
I want to be born as Nature intended, and live my life in peace and love
Give me the right to see the dawn, before I see the grave

I WANT TO LIVE! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
