A Scene From A Movie Made In 1962

Rating: 5.0

Penthouse apartment, city lights, lamps on low,
click of a Zippo, cigarette smoke,
invitation to a party slipped under the door,
let’s not go.

Party dress zipper, heels across the floor,
perfume, a fter shave, cigarette smoke,
Full Moon out the window, keys to the door,
let’s not go.

tight, neat. Exciting. frequency of the cigarette smoke with a parallel-placing of nouns compose the imagery, make the scene in this nugget of a piece. I'm enjoying your work, Moonchild. keep on, sjg
