A Self-Made Woman Poem by Rosie Bourget

A Self-Made Woman

Rating: 5.0

By Rosie Bourget

With no family connections
No inherited fortune
No privilege
But with her own hard work
She achieves great academic success.

This self-made woman
Is not a super star
She is a rising star
Who comes very far
To make it that far.

This self-made woman
Is not a hot potato
She is not a big tomato
She stands on her big toe
To take good care of Roberto.
