A Shah And A Malik Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

A Shah And A Malik

A shah and a Malik

Travels and research
-can make and can break
-doubtlessly I am an example,

At a time Iran's shah
-was placed as de Gaulle
-of France, that tall Charle

Then I was officer
-and flew logistics
-in and out…

To Paris I flew
-many flights in short time
-bringing the Maxim's products
-all the way to Shiraz…
-celebrate greatness of Iran
-it all seemed superficial…

The shah who thought was firm
-was kicked out and expelled

Now I see the same mess
-this time is in Riyadh
-congrats Suleiman
-soon you too, will be gone

As man of travels
-studies and research
-I stand and declare
-Persian Gulf is to change
-peacefully or with else

Humbly I bow, ask
-please think
-use wisdom for the task
-take a look at sand dunes
-and the oil in pipelines
-they are bones and blood
-of early ancestors and our past,
-to them we, carefully, must listen.
