A Ship's Poop - Poem by Douglas Scotney

Did a ship's poop
become the name for the product
of the after part of a body,
or did that product
become the name for the poop?

Did a ship's poop
not become the name
of the after part of a body,
but of its product,
because it houses the superior crew,
which could take living in,
but not being, human do?
