A Short Way To Hell Poem by Helena Alvarez

A Short Way To Hell

Rating: 5.0

Her Haunting face
Compatible to your disgrace
Getting sucked in
Like a whirlpool
Struggling to get free
Hold on to something
Anything
Or there wont be any of you left
Not like there was much
In the first place

But what you have
Will do
Better get out
Or that’s the end of you
On the edge of drowning
If your selfishness
Sure gives you a new perspective

In the end you end up letting go
Body is lifeless
But your soul is never in rest
For the rest of eternity
You will have to
Suffer your selfishness
And your names at the top of the list

There is a fork in the road and it's your choice which one you take. Good piece.
