A Silent Goodbye - Poem by Nellie Isabelle Steward Cooper

Some goodbyes may be said
In the heart and alone
Long before the final hour

For at the time of our departing
We being neither here nor there
May have no time to comfort
Nor share a parting prayer

God bless
