A Simple Truth Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

A Simple Truth

My ways may seem a bit behind,
Like yesterday's gentle kind.
But this is how I've always been,
A steady path, a familiar scene.

I speak my mind, I let it flow,
The way I've learned, the way I know.
And wherever my feet have led me far,
My meaning's clear, like a guiding star.

No matter the tongue, no matter the place,
I've found my voice, I've kept my pace.
And understood, by those I've met,
A simple truth, I won't forget.
