A Sinner's Death Poem by RIC BASTASA

A Sinner's Death

Rating: 4.0

Death most resembles

a prophetess who is without honor

in her own land

or

a poetess who is a stranger

among her people

How frighteningly will it be

when death soon spoils her appetites

and makes this world

so empty,

and so soon

suddenly her sinning stops
